Welcome To The November/December Issue

Lung cancer is the most deadly form of cancer in the United States, yet it receives a fraction of the support in funding and research that other cancers do.  

Find out more about this overlooked disease through this month's issue, which focuses on current research and resources, a husband and wife both diagnosed with lung cancer, and symptoms, that if detected early, could help save your life.

Every Breath Counts: The Lung Cancer Battle

According to the American Cancer Society, almost 60 percent of all people diagnosed with lung cancer will die within one year of the diagnosis. Approximately 75 percent of the diagnosed patients will die within two years.
 

Education and awareness are two of the biggest weapons we have in the battle against this killer disease, and as part of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, we encourage you to learn more.
