Welcome To The January/February Issue
Brain cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths, but no one knows the exact causes of brain tumors. Fortunately, research is producing new, more effective treatment methods.
This issue describes some of the services of Moffitt Cancer Center’s interdisciplinary Neuro-Oncology Program and provides some answers to frequently asked questions about tumors of the brain and spinal cord, as well as neurologic challenges associated with these cancers.
Sincerely,
The Moffitt Cancer Center Team

Moffitt Patient/Family Testimonial
Pat Lynch chose to receive treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center after being diagnosed with a malignant blood disorder.
“People say that nobody wants to cure cancer, because it's such a big money maker,” says Lynch who also donates to Moffitt, “I don't believe that. I believe in trying to help as much as possible to cure this disease. I believe in putting your money where your mouth is.”
